Can I use Crate and Barrel gift cards or shopping cards online or at US Stores?
Crate and Barrel gift cards and shopping cards may only be used in their country of origin. Canada gift cards cannot be used online.
What’s the difference between a Crate and Barrel gift card and a shopping card?
A gift card is a gift you give or receive for a certain dollar amount. A Crate and Barrel Canada gift card is redeemable toward merchandise purchases only at a Crate and Barrel store in Canada. Gift cards may be purchased in our Canada stores or by calling 888.657.4108 during store business hours.
A Crate and Barrel shopping card is a card issued when you are due a credit. A Crate and Barrel Canada shopping card is redeemable only toward merchandise purchased in a Crate and Barrel Canada store.

Can I use a Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card toward the purchase of Furniture Collection items?
You can apply your Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card toward the purchase of Furniture at a Crate and Barrel store in Canada.
Can I add Crate and Barrel gift cards to my Gift Registry?
Absolutely. When you're registering in a Crate and Barrel Canada store, just indicate on your registry that you’d like to receive gift cards. Many guests would like to give gift cards, but would feel more comfortable doing so if they knew it was an option you had requested. Gift cards are also a good backup to have in case your registry reaches completion, and a guest isn’t sure what you’d like.
Can I check the balance on my Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card?

click here or call 866.921.1507. You can also check your card balance when you visit a Crate and Barrel store in Canada.
Should I register my Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card?
Absolutely. Our registration program protects the balance on your card in the event that it becomes lost, stolen or otherwise damaged. Only registered cards will be protected. We recommend registering your card immediately upon receipt. To register your card now,

What if I lose my Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card?
If your registered Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card becomes lost or stolen, please call 888.657.4108 to report the loss. We will freeze the remaining balance on your missing card at the time of your call and mail you a replacement. For your security, only registered cards will be replaced if they are lost, stolen or destroyed. If you have a Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card that is not registered, protect your card’s value and
register now at crateandbarrel.ca.
Can I redeem my Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card online?
At this time, our crateandbarrel.ca website does not accept orders.
Do I have to spend the exact amount on my Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card?
No. If your purchase amount is less than the value of the Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card, you can apply the balance toward your next purchase. If your purchase amount is greater than the card balance, you will need to make the additional payment with a credit card, cash or another Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card.
Do Crate and Barrel gift/shopping cards expire?
Any unused balance does not expire and remains on your Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card until it is spent.
Will I be charged any fees if I don’t use my Crate and Barrel gift/shopping card for an extended period of time?
Crate and Barrel does not charge service or dormancy fees for any unused Crate and Barrel gift or shopping cards carrying a balance.
