Overview

An ultra-strong cutting core of Shun's proprietary VG-MAX Super Steel is clad on each side with 34 micro-layers of high-carbon stainless steel to create a blade that resists staining and corrosion, cuts beautifully and releases food easily. Like all Shun knives, the razor-sharp Classic Try Me is made in Japan and sharpened by hand to a 16° cutting angle on each side. The ergonomic, resin-impregnated handle is finished in ebony with a brushed-metal end cap. A must-have for every kitchen, the versatile paring knife can peel, pit, core, trim, execute detail work for garnishes and chop small ingredients such as garlic or ginger.
