A pedestal base elevates this stoneware bowl for a classical look, while the raised interior ledge and high, upturned rim minimize spilling. Glazed in charcoal black, the dish is ideal for hearty soups, elegant sauces and everyday cereal. This ingenious bowl can also serve as a lid for the Jamesware salad plate, low bowl or saucer, and any of those pieces can top this cereal bowl as a lid. Inner ridges and broad rims ensure pieces fit together snugly.
