Global's Asian-style knives are constructed of a single piece of steel with a unique convex edge for unsurpassed performance. Crafted in Japan using a manufacturing method inherited from the samurai sword, the three knives in the set feature razor-sharp blades and sand-filled handles for the ideal weight and balance. Cromova 18 stainless steel blades are ice-tempered and hardened to 56–58 on the Rockwell scale and sharpened by both ceramic water sharpener and whetstone. The three-piece set includes chef's, kiritsuke and paring knives.
